I leverage user research before and throughout development to discover, synthesize, and supply critical insights into user goals. UX research is vital to finding business opportunities and defining requirements that guide the development of a successful product. By understanding the user's perspective, we can make empathetic decisions that result in a product that sees business outcomes realized through meeting users' needs.
I build interfaces that facilitate users in pursuing their goals. My UI designs are intuitive, navigable, and invisible. In my past projects, I've reduced steps and friction within digital products while polishing away redundant features and design elements. I strive to meet the challenge of having nothing more than enough to create a memorable experience users will decide to rely on time and time again.
I've led multi-disciplinary teams with Product Owners to define and map business outcomes for digital products in both commercial and enterprise spaces. My objective is to lead teams to understand their known, the knowable, and the unknowable to create a product that meets business expectations and user goals.
Former film student and motion designer and all around maker. I obsess over putting things together, whether by the book or from a rough idea. In recent years, I’ve taught myself to sew a muppet, fix an old vespa-style scooter, and I spend a ton of time building MOC Lego sets.
It’s my belief that time spent understanding how people communicate empowers decision makers to make lasting changes.
